Is Boudhanath a world heritage site?

Yes, Boudhanath Stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was inscribed in 1979 as part of the Kathmandu Valley cultural heritage. About 11 km from the city center, Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in the world and a great pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists.
