    Kathmandu World Heritage Tour 

     UNESCO World Heritage Tour Kathmandu begins with your reception from the hotel after your breakfast by our professional and highly experienced tour leader and driver with a luxury car with full-fledge AC and then you will be transferred safely to Swyombhunath Stupa also known as Monkey Temple. You will get astonished to view entire Kathmandu Valley and some fabulous mountain peaks in clear weather of morning. The massive and sacred eyes of Buddha, prayer wheels, grand stupa and other temples, sonorous prayer flags and the cute jumping monkeys are the major attractions of Swyombhunath Stupa. You can collect some souvenirs and make astonishing photography from the top of the Swyombhu Hill and the Swyombhunath Stupa Premises. 

    Next, we transfer you to Pashupatinath Temple Area where you can see the cremation sites of Hindus. You also will see and enjoy the refreshing air while ascending through deep woods of Pashupatinath Temple Areas. The holy Sadhus and priests are found performing various rituals and rites here at Pashupatinath Temple Area. The bank of holy Bagmati River serves the platform for the cremation of the dead bodies of Hindus.

    The second day, we will transfer you to Patan Durbar Square safely as the previous day from your hotel after breakfast. You will enjoy visiting museum, the palace, Krishna Temple and many other popular sites as instructed by your tour guide. After you visit and explore the Patan Durbar Sqaure Area, you will be transferred to Bhaktapur, the most ancient city in the Kathmandu Valley where you gonna have your lunch with authentic local Newari cuisines like Bara and Juju dhou ( local curd). 

    Bhaktapur Durbar Square and its premises like museums, idols and magnificent wood and copper works, pottery etc are spectacular to observe here in Bhaktapur. Along with this, you can go to observe astonishing woodworks of different deities of Hindus in Changunarayan Temple representing 12th century arts and architectures and finally drive back to Kathmandu Hotel.

    Trip Itinerary

    Day 1 : Kathmandu Heritage Tour

    Have breakfast at hotel and the guide and the car will pick you up from the hotel's lobby and transfer you to Swyombhunath Stupa. You will be accompanied with a professional tour guide. The tour guide will brief you about Swyombhunath Stupa, its origination and its highlights. You will relish on the bliss of being into the serenity amongst colorful prayer flags, prayer wheels, holy pond and the deep woods of Swyombhunath Hilltop. The massive Buddha's statues with half closed eyes with meditating posture. You can enjoy entire view of Kathmandu valley and some of the mountain peaks from Swyombhunath Stupa. You can also observe some cremations of dead bodies at the base of the hills and hundreds of cute monkeys running and jumping for foods. Be careful that you may get bitten by the notorious monkeys here at Swyombhunath Stupa. Don't go closer to them and don't try to feed them. If you carry some food items or fruits in your hand, they may attack you. So, ask your guide how to keep yourself safe from monkeys' attack. 

    Collect souvenirs from Swyombhunath Stupa Area if you like before heading towards Pashupatinath Temple. 

    After you Explore Swyombhunath Stupa, we will take you to Pashupatinath Temple where you can see grand Shiva Temple at the bank of holy Bagmati River. The Bagmati Riverbank at Pashupatinath Temple area if the only cremation site for Hindus dead bodies in Kathmandu. You can observe Sadhus and priests (Shiva Devotees) performing holy prayers and practicing holy mantras at Pashupatinath Temple area. Also, you will see palm readers there at Pashupatinath Temple area. If you are interested, you can show your palm to them and enjoy the predications but we don't suggest you to do show as they may cheat you. Be careful about it and ask with your guide at the spot. 

    Penultimately, you will transferred to Bouddhanath Stupa, a grand stupa located towards North from Pashupatinath Temple. You will enjoy this visit and exploration of Bouddhanath Stupa with beautiful lunch from the top of  the restaurants located around the stupa. You can also witness some mountain views and deep green hills from the top of the restaurants located at Bouddhanath Stupa Area. You can also collect some souvenirs from Bouddhanath Stupa. 

    After you enjoy the tour to Bouddhanath with your favorite lunch and drinks, you will finally drive back to Kathmandu Durbar Square in the late afternoon. The late afternoon and evening at Basantapur Durbar Square( Kathmandu Durbar Square) will delight you will astonishing scenes of holy prayers to the temples, cool and refreshing breeze, serene streets with beautiful souvenirs, magnificent woods and stone works, a visit to a living goddess 'Kumari' and the most powerful and mightiest Kal Bhairab Statues with colorful lights. You rally don't want to say 'Good Bye' to these highlights of Kathmandu Durbar Square before leaving for your Hotel in Thamel. 

    (On the way to Thamel, you can explore and visit the traditional market, Ason Bazar and get the things you require like spices and dry fruits. The walk to Thamel from Ason Bazaar is just 20 minutes. This is optional. )

    Finally, we drive back to your hotel in the late afternoon or in the early evening and drop you safely there. You can go for the dinner wherever you want. Stay overnight at hotel and prepare for the next days' Patan and Bhaktapur tour. 

    Day 2 : Patan and Bhaktapur Tour

    The second day also begins in the same way with your breakfast at the hotel. We will pick you from your hotel after you have breakfast at the given time and you will drive to Patan with your private car and private guide. The drive from Thamel to Patan is 30 minutes. 

    You will visit Patan Durbar (palace), museum with a huge collections of ancient objects related to Buddhism and Hinduism, observe magnificent woodworks and copper works along with several spectacular idols of Hindu deities. The grand and the most beautiful Krishna ( a Hindu Lord- Lord of Love) Mandir ( Temple) will stun you with marvelous arts and architecture here at Patan. 

    Moreover, you can visit the traditional marker area, traditional settlements of Local Newari People and can taste some local authentic snacks here at Patan. The stone taps and ponds here at Patan are beautiful to observe

    After you make your Patan visit worthwhile, you will move to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is the most ancient city in the Kathmandu Valley. One can observe and explore spectacular and serene Bhaktapur Palace and  other historical palaces like 55 widows palace, Nyatpol Temple Area with museum. The magnificent idols, woodworks, copper works, traditional stones taps, pottery and ceramic works here, tradtional Newari settlements and sacred religious sites here in Bhaktapur are astounding to visit and explore.  Moreover, the Local Newari Cuisines like Bara, Chhoila, Juju Dhou and Newari Khaja Set. Tea and coffee are also popular in Bhaktapur. 

    In Bhaktapur, you will also go to visit another World Heritage Site that is Changunarayan Temple which is a popular Hindu Temple of god Vishnu. The country setting of the Changunarayan Temple, the serene surrounding with greenery, stunning stone and copper  inscriptions  and fabulous wood works of the Changunarayan Temple are the most worth observing and exploring. 

    After this precious visit and exploration of Changunarayan Temple, you will drive back to Kathmandu, Thamel for overnight stay.
