Permits Required

It also helps to monitor the flow of tourists and collect data on trekking activities in the region. TIMS Card Costs $20 per person. You can collect it through the trekking/travel company you are using for your Everest Base Camp Trekking.

The Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit is required to enter the Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that encompasses the Everest region. The permit aims to conserve the natural and cultural heritage of the area and funds various conservation and development projects. It is issued by the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation and allows trekkers to explore the stunning landscapes, diverse flora and fauna, and the unique Sherpa culture of the region. The Khumbu Area Entry Permit is another crucial permit required for the Everest Base Camp trek. Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Trip Starting day in Kathmandu ( 1320 m/4,330 ft)/Dhulikhel and Group Orientation at 4:30 pm.

On your first arrival at Kathmandu and Nepal International Airport, the Haven Holidays Nepal representative will receive you. After getting introduced to the staff, your baggage will be loaded on a privet vehicle. A short drive to the Hyatt Regency Luxury Hotel or similar. On checking into your lovely rooms, getting refreshed from Jet-Lag, then get ready for the Orientation meeting. Might be you will meet with other members too, Everest Panorama with a Heli tour of the Everest base camp trip. The guide or group leader brief with related information regarding the trek, culture, accommodation, and foods. 

Day 2 : In Kathmandu trek preparation and sightseeing tour.

Wake up morning have a wonderful breakfast, and after that, you start to Kathmandu World Heritage Sites sightseeing tour. Kathmandu is steeped with historical and religious interesting places, including many world heritage sites. Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal, offers a rich tapestry of cultural and historical sights. The city's heart is Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with ancient palaces, courtyards, and temples, including the majestic Hanuman Dhoka Palace. Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, provides stunning panoramic views of the city and a deep dive into Buddhist culture. Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu shrines, is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Kathmandu is a bustling gateway to Nepal's diverse heritage and spirituality.

After finishing your sightseeing tour in the evening time be ready to Prepare for the Everest few days trek and Everest Base Camp with a helicopter sightseeing tour.

Day 3 : Fly to Lukla 2, 840 m and trek to Phakding 2,645 m - 04 hrs.

As per flight time for Lukla, after your breakfast. An enchanting flight with a Helicopter of 30-35 minutes overlooking grand views of the Himalayan range of peaks with Mt. Everest.

After a pleasant flight reaching Lukla’s Tenzing & Hillary Airport a unique and small airport. At Lukla with time for refreshment, and then follow our guide on a pleasant easy trail to Phakding village for an overnight halt.

The walk leads down to Chheplung village adorned with Buddhist prayer monuments. The trail follows along the Dudh Koshi River with a few short ups and downs to reach Phakding, a nice moderate village. Enjoy the lovely and comfort in one of its best mountain luxury lodges with time to explore the village and local culture. 

Day 4 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m / 11, 350 feet) - 06 hrs.

Morning after breakfast, enjoy the pleasant walks on gradual trail and crossing a few suspension bridges, with slow climb to Monjo village. From Monjo enter the famous Sagarmatha National Park (Sagarmatha name for Mt. Everest in Nepal, while the Chines Peoples call as Chomolungma of Tibetan origin language). Entering the park cross another bridge above Dudh Koshi River to Jorsalle village for lunch stop. Afternoon walk follows the river bed amidst lovely cool forest of rhododendron, oaks, pines and fir trees. Slowly the walk leads to climb then cross the last bridge to Namche Bazaar, from the bridge undulating winding ups till Namche Bazaar is reached for overnight halt. 

Namche Bazaar the major commercial hub of Khumbu villagers as well as trekkers, is a moderate size town. Where all good houses serve as guest-house, lodges and hotels placed stands like an amphitheater on U-shaped. Great views of Kwangde and Tharmasarku peaks, at Namche Bazaar check into your comfort at another mountain luxury lodge for one overnight stay.

Day 5 : Hike to Khumjung village 3,790 m and return to Syangboche for overnight at Everest View Hotel (3, 880m./12730 ft) -05 hours round trip.

After a pleasant overnight in Namche Bazaar with superb close views of Kwangde peaks. Morning having a good breakfast enjoy the short day walks to Syangboche and towards the quant village of Khumjung. From Namche Bazaar climb leads atop facing marvelous aerial views of Namche Bazaar with surrounding snow-capped peaks. A steep climb of an hour to reach on top of a ridge where Syangboche a small settlement located. Syangboche is a small airstrip which was built in the mid-1970s to ferry and charter guests on Helicopter to Everest View Hotel. Located above Syangboche and Khumjung village, at present, the airstrip is seldom used by Helicopter companies. From Syangboche a slow climb to a high ridge covered in dense tree lines of rhododendrons, pines, firs and junipers. 

A slow descent brings you to Khumjung village for a lunch stop in one of its fine lodge restaurants. Located on a wide glacial valley beneath the holy peak of Khumbila, the patron god of Khumbu Sherpa. Afternoon visits the 500-year-old Khumjung monastery, an interesting place with a shrine with statues of Buddha.
Includes large idols of other famous saints and Guru, an opportunity to witness a scalp believed to be of a Yeti. Preserved in a glass box, so that visitors can get a glimpse after a donation to the monastery. From Khumjung head back to Syangboche for an overnight stop at the Everest View Hotel. Day 6 : Morning Heli flight towards from Everest View Hotel to Everest Base Camp 5,364 m, with
 view-point stop beneath Kalapathar Hill and fly to Lukla.

Enjoy the morning glorious views of the peaks that surround Namche Bazaar at Syangboche. After breakfast board a small spacious Helicopter for a flight to enchantment that takes you above Everest base camp. Incredible panorama of Himalayan peaks to enjoy during the scenic flight as Heli heads north above the green hills of Tengboche. Then above mountain wilderness landscapes reach 
the famous Everest Base Camp. Please be informed that the Heli might land or not depending upon the pilot's decision. As well as to protect the fragile environment of the base camp. The other important is for safety, as the base camp does not have a proper Helipad, due to the movement of glaciers and rock and avalanches.

However, the pilot makes a swift round above Everest base camp so that the passengers can catch a close glimpse of the area. From the base camp, the view of
Mt. Everest is hidden by Lhotse, Lho-La, and Nuptse peaks. The pilot makes a safe landing at the most popular viewpoint spot beneath the famous Kalapathar rocky hill. Day 7 : Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu with afternoon free at leisure and evening Farewell Dinner..

Walking early for breakfast in Lukla, then getting ready to walk to Tenzing & Hillary airport, as the plane arrives from Kathmandu. After checking in, and then get abroad in a small aircraft for a smooth scenic flight back to Kathmandu. 

On reaching Kathmandu airport transfer to a vehicle for a short exciting drive to your hotels. Important Information: 
Besides normal flights from Kathmandu to Lukla and back to Kathmandu on smaller aircraft. Twin Otter or Dornier accommodates about 15 passengers with three crew members. These types of aircraft are built for short take-off and landing, like in mountainous terrain like around the Himalayan small airstrip.

Including Ecureuil helicopters are certified to fly above 2,300 feet / 7,010 m high. AS Euro copter AS 350 and Ecureuil models are the most efficient and reliable for mountainous regions like around Nepal Himalayas.
