Electricity,
Available in most lodges, though often supply is unreliable either due to weather or power cuts.
Charging your electronic devices can often be available at an extra cost, more so at high altitudes.
Solar power supplies the more isolated villages that aren't reached by the grid.
Wi-Fi / Internet,
Wi-Fi in many lodges, especially in popular trekking areas like Everest and Annapurna. Paid service at most places and especially at high altitude. Low and unreliable speeds, especially over 3,500m. Mobile data for NCELL & NTC has better options at some places.
If you are trekking in a remote area-like Manaslu or Dolpo-Kanchenjunga you may get hardly any or no connectivity at all during much of the length of your journey. A satellite device or a local SIM card with data may serve as useful for important communication.
